Disney Caribbean Beach Resort

Disney Caribbean Beach Resort is the largest resort of Walt Disney World, covering 200 acres.

Looked from above, Disney Caribbean Beach Resort seems a cluster of toy-villages. The roofs of the buildings are vividly colored. It is a moderate resort and it opened in Oct 1988.

Resort

Theme and atmosphere

There are five complexes named after the Caribbean Islands: Barbados, Martinique, Aruba, Jamaica, Trinidad -- North and South. Each "village" has six buildings; the only exception is Trinidad which has three extra buildings (there are six for Trinidad South and three for Trinidad North). The bright colors -- reds, pinks, blues, yellows, greens -- take you to the land of dreams, fairy-tales and cotton-candy.

Rooms are quite spacious and bright and combine light colors and vivid floral motifs.

Location

The closest park is Epcot but it is not within walking distance to the Caribbean Beach Resort.
