Disney Wilderness Lodge

Disney Wilderness Lodge has the air of an early 1900 national park lodge.

Disney Wilderness Lodge replicates the lodges of the 1900 American National Park. It was opened in May 1994.

Resort

Theme and atmosphere

The theme is sustained by the minutely designed specific details -- the massive fireplace in the lobby reminding of the Grand Canyon, the two authentic 55-foot Pacific Northwest totem poles, the hardwood floor, the Native American rugs.

The rooms, though small, are themed in detail - the rugs, the drapery, are all themed by specific design and motifs.

Location

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located on the Southwest shore of Bay Lake, East of the Magic Kingdom.
