Disney Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

Disney Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is often the choice of couples, providing a peaceful and romantic atmosphere.

Disney Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is the carbon copy of a New Orleans fragment. It was opened in May 1991.

Resort

Theme and atmosphere

The French Quarter ambiance is re-created by the small streets with gas-lamp posts, wrought iron mini-fences, iron benches. The atmosphere is romantic and quiet. The buildings are painted cream, pink, blue, purple and yellow, have vine-covered balconies and are clustered around squares planted with magnolias.

The loby looks like a 1800 bank with "clerks" and "offices" at the reception-desks.

The rooms preserve the same romantic-frolic mixture -- the furniture has a classical design, the romantic coloring and arrangement are scattered here and there with flowery figures and Mardi Gras motifs.
