Disney Grand Californian Hotel was desdigned to look like a grand National Park lodge. It opened in 2001.

Theme and atmosphere

The hotel is in the style of the Arts and Crafts movement at the end of the 19th century. Luxury to the finest detail and greatness are the first impressions that come to mind.

Entering the woodsy lobby through the glass sliding panels that stand for the door, the view that welcomes you is a cozy but majestic one: fireplace with a rock foundation, marble designed polished floors.

The same opulence note is kept in the rooms atmosphere, which are spacious and elegantly furnished.
