The philosophy has more than proven true for Expedition Everest, the latest attraction at Walt Disney World. Since opening in April, the thrill ride has drawn thousands of fans daily. Lines routinely snake around the Animal Kingdom theme park, drawing what Disney executives term "another set of people."
Translation: Teenagers are wild about the ride.
When Animal Kingdom opened eight years ago, it had a decidedly educational bent. Because the park didn't have a thrill ride, those all-important teens weren't keen on spending a day looking at animals.
