Disneyland History - Behind the Magic: 50 Years of Disneyland

Whether you are a kid, or just a kid at heart, the Oakland Museum of California has a very special exhibition for you. Behind the Magic-50 Years of Disneyland is a traveling exhibition that features hundreds of Disney artifacts. From architectural models, original artwork, construction drawings and historic souvenirs make it easy for you to really get a feel for the vision of Mr. Walt Disney and the creativity of his team of “Imagineers”.
This 3-part exhibition allows you to learn more about Disney’s early years as both a cartoonist and filmmaker. Visitors are also privy to Disney’s plans for his Magical Kingdom theme park.
