Love is in the air at Hong Kong Disneyland this month as the park celebrates its first Valentine's Day with a host of magical gift ideas and a sumptuous menu for two that are sure to inspire romance amongst couples.

HONG KONG, Feb. 10 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong Disneyland Friday wrote letters to wholesalers and travel agents that people who were unable to use HK Disneyland tickets on Feb. 1 or 2 and cannot return to the park during the six-month validity period can request a refund.

HONG KONG, Feb. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Hong Kong Disneyland will improve its ticketing and admission arrangements, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Henry Tang said Thursday, adding the park is liaising with the tourism sector to see how to address visitor demand.

Fourteen-year-old Chinese tourist Li Zeng wandered Hong Kong Disneyland Wednesday -- and left after two hours. Mr. Li isn't that familiar with Mickey Mouse and his companions, and he and his father didn't ride any rides, buy souvenirs or eat food. "We don't understand this park," said Mr. Li, waiting for his tour bus. "We gave up looking at the map."

The folks at Hong Kong Disneyland can't seem to catch a break. For months, the problem was that there were too few visitors at the new theme park, Disney's (DIS ) first in Asia outside of Japan. Now there are too many. With China on a week-long holiday to celebrate Chinese New Year, tens of thousands of visitors from mainland China have descended on Hong Kong for a "Golden Week" of eating, shopping, and getting their picture taken with Mickey, Goofy, and the rest of the Disney gang.

AS THE year of the rooster drew to a close, Hong Kong's controversial Disneyland theme park found itself with little to crow about.

It already had infestations of wood-munching beetles and aggressive stray dogs. Now Hong Kong Disneyland has had to tackle an invasion of mosquitoes.
