Tuesday, September 12 2006 at 11:07
There's a new woman in charge at Walt Disney World.
Meg Crofton, 52, is the new president, and the first female to run the operation, WESH 2 News reported.
Crofton wore her name tag to the big announcement, but she probably won't need it much longer. She takes over for Al Weiss, who is taking over as president of the company's worldwide operations.
Crofton received her bachelor's degree at Rollins College, and her Masters Degree in business administration from Florida State University. Her old title was executive vice president of human resources for Disney parks and resorts. she was in charge of services for nearly 100,000 people.
