Walt Disney World Resort - Theme parks spooking things up for Halloween

October will be a haunting time at Florida's theme parks -- whether it's demons, bloodsuckers and haunted houses, or Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Autumn hues may be the color of the season in most of the country, but in Florida the color is red -- as in blood.
While travelers go hunting for a red October amid the leaves of New England and North Carolina, travelers in Florida go haunting in the halls of houses that are havens of horror.
Walt Disney World in Orlando has expanded its annual salute to Halloween, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, to 15 nights this year, five more than in 2004. Each evening offers trick-and-treating, costume parties, storytelling, live shows and a parade. Guests are welcome to wear costumes. New this year is a Halloween-themed fireworks display.
