Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks are among the businesses that will close today as Wilma threatened to bring tropical-force winds to the Orlando area.
Other major theme parks, including SeaWorld and Discovery Cove, expected to open but were keeping an eye on the storm.
Kim Prunty, spokeswoman for Walt Disney World Resort, said the theme parks will open today if weather conditions improve. "We'll re-evaluate after the storm passes," Prunty said.
